Two Good Online Resources

Here are two useful sites, which I have already directed you to in the exercises thus far:

The Academy of American Poets: poets.org

and:

The Annerberg Foundation: learner.org

Poets.org has audio, video, and numerous poems, essays, and other resources relating to poetry. Learner.org is mainly an education site for all levels, but has many good video resources. In particular, you can find full-length episodes for the 13-part "Voices and Visions" series, which is about modern American poets such as langston Hughes, Sylvia Plath, Emily Dickinson, Walt Whotman, and others. It is very well made, entertaining, and instructive about poetic craft.
